  Volunteer Application

You can transform the lives of people impacted by disabilities as a volunteer for Living Well Disability Services. Your experience and passion can make a difference while helping you learn new skills.  Apply online today!

Many volunteer opportunities for groups or individuals are available for you throughout the 10-county area.

Support A Person

We are looking for people to meet and support a person served by Living Well Disability Services. We will connect you with someone who shares your interests and passion that could include:

- Exploring arts, crafts or hobbies
- Attending spiritual and cultural activities
- Exercising together
- Volunteering at a food shelf, animal shelter or many other options

As a volunteer, you will enrich a person’s life by helping them experience a valued role in society, increasing self-assurance, independence and quality of life.

Support a Home

Bring your individual or group skills, hobbies and talents to support our homes and the people we serve. We have created a culture of wellness and would value your assistance to support activities such as:

  • - Exploring arts, crafts or hobbies
  • - Attending spiritual and cultural activities
  • - Exercising together
  • - Volunteering at a food shelf, animal shelter or theater

Support a Project or Event

Share your unique skills and event planning flair as a volunteer for a one-time special project or one of our exciting events each year including Family Fun Day, the Pursuit For Living Well Race and our annual Gala. We welcome an opportunity to match your group’s or your individual time available to complete a project that has a direct impact on people’s lives.

Support Our STARS!

The Living Well Disability Services Self-Advocacy group, STARS, meets monthly in St. Paul, MN. Volunteers are needed to sponsor and support these meetings which meet the second Monday of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Set up and clean up, refreshments and friendship are the activities that volunteers can assist with, along with the chance to participate in a very exciting movement towards independence and the ability to have everyone's voice heard, regardless of ability.

Administrative and Facilities Support

If you are handy with a hammer, or great at light office duties, there is an opportunity for you. We provide 24-hour maintenance on 32 residential properties. Our administrative office always welcomes assistance with office and technical skills.

Training and Orientation

Our volunteer orientation is conducted on an individual basis to best accommodate you. Our orientation covers organizational policies as well as training specific to the location/department of the volunteer position.

Ready to volunteer?

Begin the volunteer process by completing a short form with your preferences and we will contact you to determine the details.
