As part of United Way’s open and competitive grant-making process, Living Well Disability Services is excited to be a United Way partner.
Living Well Disability Services has been working to transform the traditional system of care for those we serve in the areas of physical exercise, good nutrition, stress management and social support. We are seeing remarkable weight loss results with the people we serve! Their weight loss translates into healthier hearts and lower medical bills.
Our goal at Living Well Disability Services is to develop “Be Connected. Be Well.” into a model of best practices that can be replicated nationally. It addresses the immediate and long-range need to stabilize and reduce health costs for persons with developmental disabilities.
