Before moving into his home at Living Well Disability Services on Victoria Road, Pao had limited ability to communicate with others as he is nonverbal; he also didn’t have a vehicle to transport him in his wheelchair. He simply wasn’t able to go out. Now Pao has an electric wheelchair and access to a compatible van, so he regularly gets out to baseball, hockey, basketball, roller derby and other special events like Hmong New Year at River Center (pictured). He now has an adaptive communication device, which helps him electronically communicate with others. Donate now to transform lives and help people like Pao live their best life possible.
Thanks to donors like you, more than 300 people with disabilities engage in enriching activities, participate in wellness programs and are provided opportunities to live their best life possible. On behalf of each of them, thank you for your support.
