Our Events

Our 2024 Transforming Lives Gala is guaranteed to be a blast! Please mark your calendar for Friday, September 20. You can register for an individual ticket, table, or sponsorship with the link below closer to the event. The band Good For Gary is always a hit, and is once again on board to play dance hits for us! This year our theme is COMMUNITY. Join us as we show the world that Disability is Diversity, that the people we serve deserve everyone’s support, and that our staff and all caregivers deserve legislation that supports a living wage. Help us raise $400K to fund our Health & Wellness programs as well as cover lingering expenses from staffing shortages. Your participation makes a real and profound difference in the lives of people with disabilities. We look forward to your participation!

The Tapemark Minnesota PGA Pro-Am, founded in 1972 by Bob Klas Sr. and Pat Cody Sr., raises critical funds for non-profit agencies serving Minnesota children and adults living with developmental disabilities and their families. Operated in partnership with the Minnesota PGA, this event is considered a Major Championship for the Minnesota Section and raises critical funds for community inclusion programs and services. We at Living Well are grateful to split funds raised with three other organizations and provide volunteers for this event yearly.

The reason GiveMN exists is to create awareness for nonprofits via a unique one stop nonprofit “shopping” experience. Their idea was simple–one site, one day, one easy way to donate to as many organizations as possible. Their goal was to make giving easy and fun and they continue to do so as a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and other organizations committed to helping make our state a better place. Since 2009 they have raised millions, with $50M donated just during Covid. They continue to raise money on Give to the Max, and provide links to organizations on their site year long. In their first decade, more than 300,000 donors have given nearly $200 million to 10,000 nonprofits and schools using

Each year we celebrate the people we serve with a fun party at Como Park, where they can eat great food, visit with family and staff, and be a part of the community. This private event is by invitation only but is a beloved day for people in the Living Well Community. With entertainment by Elvis, AKA Tony Redmond, BBQ, and activities for all to enjoy, this is a day many look forward to. If you are looking for residential openings or interested in customized services to help care for a loved one in your home, please call with questions and learn how to be a part of the Living Well community.
