A few weeks ago, the Living Well Board of Directors and Senior Leadership met for a board retreat focused on advancing the organization’s strategic direction through a full day of discussion and planning. The session began with introductions and a review of objectives and the agenda, followed by a conversation identifying the organization’s core strengths and placing its current strategy in context. The board then reviewed key insights from the discovery and engaged in discussion around critical strategic questions. Conversations were centered on defining long-term goals, specifically the impact and change the organization aims to achieve over the next few years for those it serves.
Board Member, Nicolas Tiziou, says of the retreat, “The retreat was a chance to step back and get clear on where we’re headed. Bringing people together is one of Living Well’s greatest strengths, and we spent the day using that energy to focus on how we can best support the people we serve, our employees, and our greater community, for the many years to come.”
Board Member, Bill Boyd, adds, “The alignment between senior staff and board members on the organization’s mission was powerful and exciting! I’m confident we will continue developing strategies to ensure a sustainable quality of service to individuals, families, employees, and the community at large.”
