Our DSP for this week is Flaxie and she works at our Douglas home in Buffalo. In September she will celebrate her one year anniversary with Living Well. Flaxie is a busy working mom who makes time to care and support people who live at Douglas. She is reliable and has an unwavering commitment to both the individuals she supports and her team. She consistently maintains high standards of care, ensuring that individuals’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and consistency.
Stephen Dean, Program Manager, says, “Flaxie approaches coworkers with a helpful, solutions-focused mindset and ensures the home operates smoothly. Her dedication not only benefits those supported but also builds trust with families and reinforces the organization’s commitment to quality care. When staffing gaps arise, she steps in—arriving early, staying late, or covering additional shifts to ensure continuity of care.”
Flaxie, we appreciate you and are grateful you found Living Well and joined the team
