In today’s ever changing event and fundraising landscape one big question is—should organizations offer a raffle? In addition to silent auction and premium items, and calls for fund-a-need donations, a raffle may seem insignificant—but in truth it is an easy way to raise critical funds. When you look at the ease of a raffle and the money it can bring in, the answer is generally YES, go with a raffle.
At Living Well Disability Services we are selling a limited run of 200 tickets priced at $50 per ticket. Why $50? This is an easy price point for new donors and audiences just learning about our mission of providing exceptional services for people with disabilities. At $50 per ticket if we sell out we will bring in $10,000, and that is an incredible boost to the larger fundraising goal. Add in the excitement of the chance to win, and people who purchased will be more likely to tune in to the virtual event when it airs (October 22nd, register now and mark your calendars).
