We are so excited to partner with Walser St. Paul during Subaru’s annual Share the Love campaign.

Fifteen years ago, Subaru created the Share the Love Event to help those who need it most. For every new vehicle purchased or leased during Share the Love from November 17 through January 3, Subaru will donate $250 to one of four national charities, with an additional $50 going to a hometown charity. Each dealership gets to choose their hometown charity, and lucky for us, Walser Subaru St. Paul chose Living Well as their hometown partner. Buyers choose the charity that will benefit from their purchase and can choose Living Well to get both donations—meaning we receive $50 from each Subaru sold from that dealership but could get $300!

The beauty of this partnership is twofold. First and most obvious is the financial contributions expected to trickle in through January. But perhaps even more exciting is the exposure this will bring to Living Well. Walser Subaru St. Paul has given us a huge boost by choosing us as their selected hometown charity. They produced a video featuring Program Manager Alex Buslee, who has been with Living Well an astounding 30 years, and Rodney, a beautiful human who lives at the home she manages. He has personality and charisma for days.
The video captures the love Alex has for Living Well and the work we do, the love they have for each other, and the love that staff and people served benefit from when the right people show up day in and day out to make a career out of caring by making the lives of others richer. We will also have a table at the dealership and several opportunities to connect with the entire Walser Subaru St. Paul crew to get them excited about helping us.

Huge THANKS and much GRATITUDE to Dani, Brycen and Kaci, and their entire team for choosing Living Well.
The team at Walser Subaru St. Paul is deeply invested in helping the partnership be successful, and love having the opportunity to help local charities every year. As a company Subaru is committed to giving back and has several pillars of giving within their Subaru Love Promise—Loves the Earth, Loves to Care, Loves Learning, Loves Pets, Loves to Help, and of course Shares the Love. Walser also has a foundation and a commitment to give 5% of proceeds to charity. Subaru Share the Love is the biggest fundraiser of the year, and the stores dive into the cause. General Manager, Brycen Eberwein, says, “Being able to see the impact we make with the organizations we partner with is amazing. This partnership allows us to have on impact on our community.” He says they also do a lot of volunteering in spring and fall that provides excellent team building opportunities, as well as another way to connect directly with community. Brycen adds, “A major part of our culture is giving back. A huge benefit to the company is that we have the ability to be a part of something bigger. It changes the way you look at your job.” While volunteering is not expected or part of their jobs, the entire team at Walser is invested in the process and all lean into the events and come with the mindset of doing the right thing.

Clearly culture is important at Subaru. Kaci Luth, CORE Manager at Walser St. Paul, says, “The customers get to choose the charity they donate to, which makes the Share the Love event even more special.” Kaci is proud to be with Subaru as they built a brand around things that matter. Adding, “When you build your brand around love and actually live that vision, you end up attracting people that think the same way.” And Dani Runyan, Customer Specialist, agrees, saying, “I love my job! Few people can say they work for a company that truly cares and gives back so much. Subaru is the real deal. I wake up every day knowing that I get to spread love and make the world a better place, and that is pretty awesome.” Brycen, Kaci and Dani, we agree—culture and caring are important and make work so much more meaningful.
